Free 369 tracker

No promises: these are practices to try, not a way to make any result certain. This isn't medical, financial or mental-health advice.

Write your line, then tick 3 boxes in the morning, 6 at midday and 9 in the evening. Your line and ticks are saved in this browser only.

Add reminders to my calendar

Downloads a calendar file (.ics) with three daily reminders for your cycle. No app, no permissions, nothing is sent anywhere.

How to use the tracker

  1. Write your line. One sentence about something you will do. Not sure? Read how to write a good 369 line.
  2. Pick a cycle. 33 or 45 days, or your own number. You can change it later.
  3. Tick as you go. Each time you write your line, tick a box. Prefer typing? Switch on "Write it here" and type each line instead.
  4. Check the star chart. Full days light up as gold stars, partial days are half lit, and missed days stay dim. Tap any past day to fill it in.
  5. Review every 7th day. Three short questions appear: what you did, what got in the way, and your if-then plan for next week.

Missed a day? That's normal. In research on new habits, missing one day did not make a real difference to progress (Lally et al., 2010). The tracker has no streaks to lose.

Your data stays on this device

  • Your line, ticks and reviews are saved in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
  • There is no account and no email. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so use Export to keep a backup file.
  • To move to another phone or browser, export here and import there.
  • Delete everything removes all tracker data from this device at once.

Read our privacy page for the full details.

Print a blank 369 sheet

Prefer paper? Use Print a blank 369 sheet at the bottom of the tracker. You get one page with 3, 6 and 9 numbered lines and a space for one action. It prints in black ink only.

What the tracker can and can't do

It can help you keep a routine and see your effort at a glance. Writing progress down helps people reach goals, especially when it is physically recorded (Harkin et al., 2016). It can't make any result happen, and it can't help with wishes that depend on another person, luck or health.

Want a daily question instead? Try the journal prompt generator.

Real risks

  • Clearing your browser deletes your data. Export a backup now and then.
  • Ticking boxes without doing anything real. Add one small action a day.
